Defining a Founder-Led Concept with Heart

Mixala was born from a husband-and-wife duo’s shared passion for masala chai — and a drive to reimagine tradition through bold, inventive blends. Inspired by their love for travel, storytelling, and creative experimentation, the brand needed to reflect a mix of authenticity and innovation. Through collaborative strategy sessions, we clarified their vision and distilled it into a clear, meaningful brand foundation.

Naming a Brand That Mixes It Up

The name ‘Mixala’ blends “mix” and “masala” — a simple, memorable expression of the brand’s playful spirit and remix culture. It sets the tone for a brand that celebrates variety, flavour and individuality, making space for unexpected chai infusions like cacao, Italian biscuit, and toffee mint.

A Visual Identity with Energy and Character

We brought the story to life with a vibrant brand identity that balances warmth, tradition, and modern experimentation. Bold colour pairings, abstract patterns, and distinctive typography helped communicate a sense of movement and discovery, echoing the founders’ own journey from kitchen to shelf. The visual system was applied across packaging, digital assets, and brand collateral.
