Helping an Athens favourite find its place in London’s competitive food scene. Fresko is an authentic Greek yogurt bar with cult-like status in Athens — known for its premium product, natural ingredients and health-first appeal. As founder Sofia prepared to open her first London store, we partnered to evolve the brand for a new market, building on the existing logo and core identity to expand the visual language and experience across every touchpoint. A fresh concept rooted in travel and wellness
Our starting point was emotional — how do you make customers in London feel like they’ve stepped into a moment of Greece, without leaning on tired tropes? We built on the brand’s existing foundations and developed a refreshed story centred around the idea of a healthy escape. Fresko would feel vibrant and aspirational, but never inauthentic. We wanted every interaction — from the store experience to the spoon in your hand — to transport you, even just for a minute.
Expanding the visual language and brand assets
To bring this to life, we introduced a series of new brand signatures that complemented the existing logo. Most notably, a striking brand pattern inspired by the Greek evil eye — a nod to local tradition reimagined with modern flair. I worked across menus, packaging, signage and store theming to build a cohesive visual system, helping Sofia and her team roll out the evolved brand expression across two London locations: Covent Garden and Westfield.
Evolving the brand as the business grows
As Fresko’s presence expanded, so did the brand. I continued to support the team through new campaigns, seasonal activations and marketing moments — including the launch of Frozen Greek Yogurt and a new wellness-focused pop-up offering designed for corporate spaces. With its roots in Athens and a growing London fanbase, Fresko is now the go-to destination for real Greek yogurt in both cities.
